Alternatives

SightCall is a platform. This is a tool.

That is the whole difference and it decides the answer for most people inside a minute. SightCall embeds visual support into the systems your service desk already runs on, and it is built to be governed, integrated and rolled out.

Proofwalk does not integrate with anything. A specialist opens a session, texts a link, watches the job, and a report comes out the other end. If that is the shape of your problem, you can be running it this week.

Side by side

Where each one is actually stronger

Several of these rows go against us. Those are the ones worth reading, because trialling the wrong shape of product is the expensive mistake here, not picking the wrong price.

Compiled August 2026 from published vendor material and our own category research. SightCall does not publish pricing, so no figure is quoted for them rather than repeating a number from a software directory. Corrections to support@proofwalk.io.

Before you go further

Three reasons to stop reading and call SightCall

The record has to live in your system

If a session that does not write itself back into Salesforce or ServiceNow is a session your team will not log, that is a genuine requirement. We have nothing for it.

You are rolling out to hundreds of agents

We run on a single server with no failover, sized for a team running installs rather than a contact centre floor. If an outage during business hours is unacceptable to you, that is a deployment difference and not a setting we can change.

The session has to be governed centrally

Retention rules, audit and access policy applied across every channel your service desk runs. We have retention and an audit trail, but they are ours and they stop at our edge.

The hidden number

The real cost of an enterprise rollout is time, not licence fees

The licence is the part of an enterprise deal you can see. The part that decides whether it was worth it is how long the tool sits unused between signature and the first real session, and who on your side spends that time configuring it.

That cost is proportional to how much the tool has to know about your business. A platform that writes into your CRM has to be told what your CRM looks like. A tool that texts a link does not.

The trade is real in both directions. You are buying speed and giving up the integration. If the integration is what you needed, this was the wrong trade and the page above says so.

Questions

Common questions

What is the real difference between these two?

SightCall is a platform you integrate. Proofwalk is a tool you open. If visual support has to live inside Salesforce or ServiceNow and be governed by the same rules as the rest of your service desk, that is a platform problem and SightCall solves it. If you need a specialist to see a job and produce a record of it, that is a tool problem.

How long does Proofwalk take to set up?

A specialist signs in, creates a session and texts a link. There is no deployment, no connector to configure and nothing to install on anybody's phone. The setup that does take thought is writing your checklists, which is an afternoon and is the part that decides whether the evidence is worth anything.

Does Proofwalk integrate with our CRM?

No. There are no integrations at all today. Sessions carry a work order number that is searchable, and reports can be shared by link to somebody with no account, which covers passing evidence to a customer or a contractor. It does not cover writing a case record back into your system.

Can it be used for supporting customers rather than technicians?

Yes. The session does not care who is holding the phone. A support team guiding a customer through a device gets the same live video, annotation and model plate capture. The checklist and sign-off machinery matters less on a support call, and the session record still matters.

What happens to our evidence if we leave?

It is yours. Reports stay readable through your notice period, and you get a copy of every session, photo and report before the account closes.
