Three guides, one for each role

Specialists run sessions from a desk. Technicians join on site from a phone, with no account and nothing to install. Admins manage seats, checklists and billing. Pick the one that describes you.

For the specialist

Creating a session, getting the link to the technician, guiding the work, and the report at the end. Includes what to do when a session misbehaves.

Read the specialist guide

For the technician

Joining from a link, what the buttons do, sending photos, working the checklist, and what happens when the signal gives out. No account and nothing to install.

Read the technician guide

For the team admin

Seats and invitations, the checklists your team shares, what happens to work you delete and how to get it back, and what your plan includes.

The technician's camera starts off

The technician's camera starts off. Somebody who has joined can talk, send photos and work through the checklist before any video exists at all. That is deliberate: a phone streaming video through a two hour job is a dead phone by lunchtime.

Video starts when the technician taps something, either because they chose to or because the specialist asked and they agreed. Nobody can turn a camera on from another building.

If you are a specialist watching a blank stage wondering whether it is broken, it is not. Press the video request button and wait for them to accept.

Still stuck

If you have a sign-in, use Get help on your account page. It reaches us with your name, your team and, if you add a session code, the diagnostics that session recorded about the phone, the camera and the connection. That usually answers the question faster than a description can.

Email support@proofwalk.io if you cannot sign in, which is the one case the form cannot reach.

Technicians asking about photographs of their work should start with the company that sent them the link, since the job and its evidence belong to that company. See the notice for technicians.
